    Being one of the most famous poems ever written, The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe inspired many following writers and was used or referenced in pop culture many times. The poem itself was influenced by works of Charles Dickens and Elizabeth Barrett, mixing mythological, religious, folk and classical elements with complex rhythms. In the poem, a talking raven is sitting a bust, watching a man slowly slipping into madness, because he lost the love of his live. First published in the New York Evening Mirror on January 29, 1845, the poem made Edgar Allan Poe popular, but did not bring him much financial success.

    Edgar Allen Poe is one of the most important figures of American literature. Born 1809 in Boston, he became the first well-known writer earning a living through writing alone. Being famous for his poems and short stories, he represents the American Romanticism and contributed a lot to the development of the evolving genres of mystery and science fiction. At the age of 40 he died under mysterious and unknown circumstances, making a fitting end to his extensive work and difficult life.

    One of Britain’s leading actors, Adjoa Andoh won acclaim as Lady Danbury in the global Netflix smash Bridgerton - a role that saw her nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress at the 2021 NAACP Image Awards. On the small screen in 2020, she was spellbinding as Dr Isaccs in the psychological thriller Fractured, as well playing tough cop DI Nina Rosen in BBC1’s Silent Witness. She also featured as  the blockbuster fantasy drama The Witcher as the character Nenneke in. A renowned stage actor, Adjoa has been celebrated for lead roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, where in 2019 she conceived, co-directed, and played Richard II, in the UK's first all-women-of-colour production. She made her Hollywood debut in 2009, starring alongside Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon in Clint Eastwood’s biographical sports film Invictus. She has been a BBC radio actor for over 30 years and is an award-winning narrator of over 150 audiobooks. Adjoa Andoh is an Associate Artist at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Senior Associate Artist at The Bush Theatre and a Fairtrade Ambassador.

    Miguel Riveros Silva, born in Chile in 1976, is known as an illustrator and director Millus. He has been working successfully for international companies, film production companies and publishers for over 20 years. He inherited his talent for drawing from his father and in his youth he learned the trade from well-known character designers and directors such as Harald Siepermann (Disney) and Alexander Mitta. He does a lot of voluntary work for young talents as curator of the Schmitz-Lippert Foundation (CÖLN COMIC HAUS) and helps them on their way to independence.
