Web3 Frontend (FullStack) Developer (m/f/d)


Full-time, Location: Remote/Frankfurt am Main

Creatokia was launched in 2021 by Bookwire, one of the leading international digital publishing technology companies, with the aim of providing publishers and authors with new ways to publish and market digital content.

Since then, Creatokia has become one of the most relevant publishing platforms where publishers, self-publishers and creative professionals can quickly and easily publish their works (e-books, texts, audio books and book-related art work or PFPs) digitally as limited special editions. As a Digital Original or minted as an NFT on the blockchain.

For readers, collectors and NFT enthusiasts, Creatokia is also the place to go to buy, trade and show unique digital collectibles.

 

What you can expect

As a Web3 Front-End (Fullstack) Developer you will actively contribute to the growth of "Creatokia". You will be responsible for Creatokia's interactions with the Ethereum Blockchain and upcoming new Web3 opportunities. Likewise, the frontend part (React/Next.js) of the user experience (UX) and the visual appeal on mobile devices and browsers is in your hands. The content systems TYPO3 and Strapi run headless and provide you with JSON for the FE-side rendering.

Join our great team at Creatokia and support publishers, authors and creators big and small in publishing and selling their work as NFTS. Join us to create brand new products and fan services based on current Web3 trends from tokengated content to metaverse experiences.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You work as a (lead) front-end developer at Creatokia.
  • You are responsible for the React/Next.js frontend of the Creatokia website. The front-end consumes content that is delivered in a headless approach (JSON) by a Java Product BE and associated CMS platforms (Strapi and Typo3).
  • You will take on tasks in the area of Web 3.0 to expand existing and audited solidity SmartContracts
  • if you have basic CI/CD and DevOps skills (AWS, BitBucket) you can work on our deployment pipelines.
  • You are curious especially about new Web3 and frontend trends
  • You are up to date in Web 3.0 and frontend - area
  • You bring in new ideas in the area of front-end and Web3

 

Your  Background

  • You have a good command of English and have successfully completed your studies in computer science.
  • You can regularly be found in Frankfurt am Main (we offer very flexible home office arrangements)
  • You are open to new ideas and have a personal passion for blockchain and NFTs.
  • You have 5 years of experience in FE development
  • You are experienced in frontend technologies (especially React JS)
  • Optionally you bring node.js knowledge (not mandatory but a big plus)
  • Optionally, you have TYPO3 experience, but TypoScript and/or PHP are not mandatory but again a big plus.
  • You already have experience with Web 3.0 technologies such as blockchain, smart contracts and NFTs
  • You have a hands-on mentality, keep an eye on the big picture and actively participate in processes that change
  • You enjoy working in a team and are looking forward to shaping and moving things independently and together as part of our dynamic team.
