AI audio approach

We selected a suitable speaker (UK accent, known as RP in England, or Received Pronunciation) and started with English.

Experiments with the same AI speaker model for the German language also sound so promising that we are considering making the entire production bilingual. However, both audio versions are still initial tests with no guarantee that they will be carried through to the end. The further production also depends on the response of the users.

Background Audio

To reinforce the feeling of a science fiction story from the 1980s, we have chosen a similar instrumentation for the background music in the style of successful sci-fi productions with an 80s character. An old (unfortunately virtual) Moog Model 15 synthesizer adds handmade sound design to the pure AI audio production.

Overview of the New World Trilogy

The three classic sci-fi novels depict a post-apocalyptic dystopia of mythological creatures – centaurs, vampires, griffins, goblins – but this world is no fantasy. These creatures were genetically engineered during our own near future – for theme parks, work forces, zoos, and military campaigns. Now, after a global war and 200 years have passed, these science-bred nightmares and a dwindling human population are all that’s left. And the mythological creatures don’t like the humans much.
