There are two entities living in every woman, a goddess and a demoness. The goddess strives for perfection, she wants to be loved and admired by all. The demoness, on the other hand, is rebellious and yearns for independence from public opinion, burning all bridges in her path.

About working together with Edward H. Carpenter

I've created a lot of art, but never a book cover - so, when Edward proposed this collaboration, I was intrigued! I read his story, and really liked it! My thought was that the cover should capture a touch of darkness, and an apple, of course… I created two drafts, and Edward fell in love with one of them – so, I took that into a series of reworkings, and the final product is the one you see here!
